Menlo Park Elementary school in Huber Heights OH participates in the “Camp Kern” experience, as do most schools in the Dayton OH area. The challenge for this project was to incorporate all of the different activities, as well as portraits of some of the children. The pictures below show about half of the completed wall. It was a fun project!
The kids had a climbing wall (far left), built their own lean-to, canoed on the lake and learned to build a campfire

The kids learned cooperative skills, climbed a very tall tower, and had target practice.
