American Eagle mural
Private HomeThis mural was created for a homeowner and painted on a wall outside of his home theatre room. The challege with this mural was to make it interesting and also include the homeowner’s love of the American Eagle. You can click on each image for a larger view.
Step 1: I roughed in the background and cloudy sky.
Step 2: The eagles were roughed in.
Step 3: I added trees, grasses and finished the eagles.
Step 4: Added the finishing touches.

Thanks for your comment. The template used for our blog is a free WordPress template that I found out on the Internet. Our web developer then customized it to match the website she created for us.

Thanks for your comment. We’re most familiar with WordPress, and they offer plenty of information for new bloggers on how to get started. I’d check there first for the information you need, as well as search the Internet for information or tutorials on starting a blog. Our blog was created by following a tutorial for setting up a WordPress blog, and then customized to match our website. Good Luck!

Thanks for your comment. We are using WordPress for our blogging platform. The blog template we are using was found by searching the Internet for free WordPress templates. We came across a tutorial on how to create a WordPress blog template, and followed it to create the blog page. Our web developer (Wise Choice Marketing Solutions) then customized the template to match the rest of our website. Internet searches for free WordPress templates usually yield several different website with free templates or tutorials for you to utilize. Good Luck!

Thank you for your comment. We are using WordPress as our blogging platform. We found it easy to use with the information provided on the site, plus tutorials found by surfing the web and on Lynda.com. You might check out Drupal or Joomla also. Good Luck!

Thanks for your comment. Actually, it did not cost us a lot to get our weblog started. WordPress, Drupal and Joomla offer basic information on how to get started, and also have free templates you can customize and use. You might also check out Blogger which is even easier to set up. You can either host your weblog through those websites, or purchase hosting from another company. The template we are using was free. We found a tutorial on how to build a blog page, and customized the template we created to match our website. There is a lot of free information, templates and services available on the Internet if you search for it.

Thanks for your comment. You are right! There are so many choices out there, and it’s hard to decide which way to go. In our limited experience with blogging platforms, we’d have to suggest starting off with the free platform at WordPress. It’s very easy to use and should prepare you for any other platforms you migrate to in the future…paid or free. Good Luck!

Thanks for your comment. We found our WordPress theme on the Internet while searching for free themes. It was actually part of a tutorial we followed on creating a WordPress theme. Once we finished the tutorial, we customized the template to match our website!
